Tips
- Did you know that: you can make cookie dough, portion it, and freeze it for another time?
- Some preparations are stickier than others. In case you encounter difficulties releasing your food or see that you have too much left inside, you might:
- Need to use a smaller size scoop head.
- Need to plunge your scoop head in cold water or grease it with some oil before scooping.
- Need to place your preparation in the fridge for 15-20 min. This will allow to harden it and reduce its stickiness.
- You can use your Portioning Scoops to measure dry ingredients such as flour, sugar, cocoa powder...
- Small scoop 15 ml / 1 tbsp.
- Medium scoop 30 ml / 2 tbsp.
- Large scoop 55 ml / 3 tbsp.
To have the most precise measurement possible:
- First, gently stir the powder to loosen it and avoid scooping into compacted areas.
- Scoop without compacting.
- Scrape the top with a tool like the Silicone Spatula Thin (avoid pressing against the side of the container as it would compact the powder and change the quantity measured).
- Pour out the ingredients.
